Twelve new banners were unveiled Wednesday to
be hung in honor of Holly Sugar Corporation and area growers
75 years of commitment to Torrington and Goshen County.
The banners are to be mounted from the museum, across
from Holly, to 22nd and Main, by Platte Valley Federal and the
U.S. Post Office, said Mayor Mike Varney.
Their purpose is to recognize Holly Sugar and the
Growers for their contributions to the economy of the City of
Torrington and Goshen County.
They
are both important to all of us in the eastern Wyoming area.
Varney (left), City Clerk Sandy Pittman, Holly Sugar District
Manager Leroy Schafer and Platte Valley Wyo/Braska Sugar Beet
Growers President Dave Hinman attended the unveiling.
